It appears that Microsoft and its Xbox One console are not doing well in Europe as Sony claims that its Playstation 4 console is holding 70 to 90 percent of market.
According to
an interview done by VG247.com with Sony Europe President, Jim Ryan, Playstation 4 is currently holding nothing less than 70 percent of market share in every European country.
"We have a very significant market leadership," Ryan said in the interview. "We have market leadership in every country in Europe, and have very significant market leadership in continental Europe. Extremely significant. I don't think marketshare's any less than 70 percent, and frequently greater than 90 percent in continental Europe."
Lack of competition is never good for consumers which explains the fact that Sony currently has no plans for any price cuts as it is seeing "very considerable" momentum in sales at its current price point.
In case you missed earlier report, Sony claims that it has sold more than 22.3 million Playstation 4 units until March 31st.
