EVGA is putting final touches on its new X99 Micro2 micro-ATX form-factor motherboard based on Intel's X99 Express chipset and with support for socket LGA2011v3 CPUs.
While the original X99 Micro was quite good it lacked some of the new features like the M.2 slot or USB 3.1. The new EVGA X99 Micro2 motherboard feature a 10-phase CPU VRM, comes with three PCI-Express x16 slots (x16/x16/x
and support up to 64GB of DDR4 memory in four memory slots.
As far as storage and connectivity is concerned, it features ten SATA 6Gbps ports and EVGA now also included a 32Gbps M.2 slot as well. It also comes with two USB 3.1 ports, at least one being type-C port, six standard USB 3.0 ports, 7.1-channel audio and Gigabit Ethernet.
Unfortunately, we still do not have a precise date but hopefully this one will be out soon.
