The Witcher 3 sold in more than 4 million copies

In just two weeks

According to CD Projekt Red, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been sold in over 4 million copies in just two weeks.

While a big part of those sales were pre-orders, it is definitely a big milestone and an impressive number. Marcin Iwinski, co-founder at CD Projekt Red, used that announcement to thank the four million gamers worldwide who bought The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt game in the first two weeks from launch.

CD Projekt Red has already promised 16 free DLCs and was quite keen to remind that these will be available weekly and that the developer is already working on constant updates and enhancements for the game. CD Projekt Red also announces that there will be two expansions for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt so gamers will have something to do once they complete the game.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is probably one of the biggest and most popular RPG games and four million sold copies certainly prove it.
