Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti Gaming G1 spotted at Computex

With triple fan WindForce 3X cooler

Since the day we knew that Nvidia gave a green light to its AIC partners to make custom versions of the Geforce GTX 980 Ti graphics card from day one, we were quite anxious to see all those versions and it appears that Gigabyte has saved its flagship offer, the Geforce GTX 980 Ti Gaming G1 for Computex 2015 show.

Pictured by Techpowerup.com, the Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti will feature the triple-slot Windforce 3X cooler with three fans. All those fans will not spin up until the temperature goes over 65°C, making the graphics card completely silent in idle.

It also comes with underlying heatsink design which consists of two independent aluminum heatsinks, connected to the GPU base with 8mm thick copper heatpipes, which also come in direct contact with the GPU. The rest of the components, like memory and the VRM part, are cooled by a base-plate and three 100mm fans push fresh air on them.

The Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti Gaming G1, model name GV-N98TG1 GAMING-6GD, will be launched at a later date as the precise clocks are still not finalized, but with such a hefty cooler, we believe those will be quite high. Although it supports up to five displays at the same time, the GTX 980 Ti Gaming G1 will come with six display outputs including two DVI, three DisplayPort and single HDMI output.

Unfortunately, we do not have a precise availability date or the price.
