It's been quite a long time now, that AMD released a new driver. In fact for almost half a year there was no new driver from the chip maker improving performance with latest games. According to AMD this latest update should help increase frame rates in The Wither 3: Wild Hunt and Project Cars.
It is really good to see that AMD has been working on optimizing their drivers for two more of the latest games. In the release notes the company is mentioning, that frame rates in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt are about to increase by 10 percent. In the case of Project Cars the performance boost is even more and AMD is promising a 17 percent increase compared to the older driver.
Apart from performance optimizations the update also brings a new Cross Fire profile for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Nevertheless AMD is recommending to disable anti-aliasing if you should run a CrossFire setup. Apart from that AMD is aware of the fact, that there is micro-flickering on the new Witcher game and these days they're working with CD Projekt RED to find a solution to this issue. In the case of Project Cars AMD recommends using AA over DS2M, since this should help make the game run smoother.
The new drivers are available for download over at AMD and the following links will take you there.
