In the past few day our news have been full with new, alleged information about NVIDIAs upcoming GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card. Meanwhile it starts to look like the last bits and pieces of information are dripping in. To be a bit more specific there are now the full specs available and there is also a price range, which the card is expected to hit at launch.
To provide a brief overview we've put together a table, which shows the GTX 980 Ti in comparison with the GTX Titan X and the GTX 980. In terms of features such as CUDA cores, ROPs and TMUs the 980 Ti is inbetween the two other cards being much closer to the GTX Titan X. Looking at the to be expected price range the GTX 980 Ti is most likely to hit, it is quite a bit closer to the GTX 980, while ending up about 150 to 200 UD-Dollars more expensive than NVIDIAs entry offering into their high-end class GPUs. On another note it's worth mentioning that the GTX 980 Ti is a card with 250 Watts TDP. One particular point, which is going to be interesting to have a close look at in reviews is therefore cooling. We're rather curious to see how NVIDIA themselves as well as their board partners are going to take care of this and how silent the GTX 980 Ti cards will actually be.
