In the past Streacom has been well-known for their passive cooled ITX cases. With the F12C they have a first larger case in their portfolio, which also offers space for standard ATX power supplies as well as lots of hard drives.
A closer look at the exterior reveals that there is no opening for optical drives and apart from that there are also no I/O ports which could impact the sleek looks of this case. Integrated into the front you'll only find an IR cover (IRRC and FLIRC) as well as the power button.
If you remove the top panel, which is secured using thumb screws, you'll get access to no less than twelve 3.5 inch HDD bays or 24 2.5 inch bays. This case is even big enough to house standard ATX motherboards and graphics cards which measure 310 millimeter in length. Coolers can measure a maximum of 135 millimeter, which is acutally enough for powerful all-in-one water coolers or very decent down-draft coolers.
Something that is new for Streacom cases is the fact that there is space for fans. on the sides as well as at the top fans with 80 to 140 millimeter diameter can be installed. Overall this case offers quite a lot of flexibilty. All fan slots have been equipped with dust filters as well and they're being kept in place using magnets.
The F12C from Streacom is available for 240 Euro and in comes in black an silver.
