Back in March when AMD officially launched FreeSync technology, it was only limited to single-GPU configurations and while AMD promised that Crossfire support was coming in April, it is now clear that it got delayed.
Unfortunately, AMD is not giving any precise details regarding Crossfire support for FreeSync and
has only posted a short update on their forum saying that after QA testing Crossfire FreeSync “is not quite ready for release," and will be delayed.
As noted, AMD did not give out any other details and did not release any specific date. While FreeSync is definitely a nice feature, users with Crossfire configurations, including the Radeon R9 295X2 graphics card are definitely waiting for that support.
