ASUS announced quite a few new products at its press event at Computex 2014 in Taipei and among them is the new ASUS Zenbook NX500, a 15.6-inch Ultrabook with 4K/UHD display.

The new ASUS NX500 is designed around a 15-inch 3840x2160 display packed in a rather compact chassis which is mere 19mm thick and 2.2kg heavy. While ASUS t did not shed any precise light regarding the CPU, other than it will be a Core i7 one, it did note that the new NX500 will be equipped with Nvidia GTX 850 discrete graphics card with 2GB of VRAM, up to 16GB of RAM, titanium-film speakers with SonicMaster audio backed by ICEpower and Bang & Olufsen technology as well as a rather hefty 96Wh battery which should keep it running for quite a while.

According to information provided by ASUS, it will also feature PCI-Express x4 SSD for storage as well as Broadcom's 3-stream 802.11ac WiFi solution.

Unfortunately, ASUS did not shed any light on the price, availability date or even any other information regarding the new Zenbook NX500 Ultrabook.
