Today, ASUS has unveiled a new graphics card, based on the GK110 Nvidia GPU, a custom version of a GeForce GTX 780 with 6GB of memory, twice what you can find on the reference versions, and cooled by a DirectCU II cooler, which provides great performance and almost no noise at all, the ASUS GTX 760 STRIX.
The new GTX 780 graphics card from ASUS will be known as the GeForce GTX 780 STRIX, and will have two fans that will not operate while the board is idle or under light workload, or simply, will activate when the GPU workload increases.
Just like any other GK110 based GTX 780 graphics cards, the STRIX also features 2304 CUDA Cores, a 384-bit memory interface, SLI support, dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. ASUS will release two versions of this board, the first one with stock frequencies and one with an overclocked GPU. We hope to know more about these models as soon as possible.
