When it comes to weird IT gadget, Japan is always the first in line. This project is no exception to this rules, and once again the rising sun country is showing us that they have no limits about electronic devices.


We present you the R2-D2 Virtual Keyboard, a reproduction of the little Star Wars droid that, once you connect it via Bluetooth to your device (Windows, iOS, Android, OS X or Blackberry), cast a virtual keyboard on your desk.

No CherryMX switches nor cable lying around: this little robot creates a keyboard on your desk without any further cable, and it also have multimedia functions and adjustable brightness.

This video will show you everything you need to know about this interesting project. The virtual keyboard will show up on the market on August, for 330$ without shipping.
