Lian Li could launch DK01 desk chassis this year

For house and office use

Taiwanese company Lian Li is well known for its recognizable and quality PC chassis, has announced plans for for a new DK01 PC case which is actually a desk and while the prototype from earlier this year was impressive, it has now evolved and its second version might hit retail/e-tail pretty soon.

The DK01, as Lian Li decided to name it, is a concept which aims to put the computer inisde a 900/1200mm wide, 600mm deep and 800mm high desk. It can support up to three screens and has some rather interesting features like the adjustable and removable keyboard shelf, storage space for the keyboard and cables as well as handles for one or two headsets.

The chassis part of the desk has enough room for nine 2.5-inch/3.5-inch drives, an ATX power supply, HTPX, ATX or micro-ATX motherboard, up to four 380mm long graphics cards, room for a 380mm radiator on the side in case you want to go for water cooling, front placed USB 3.0 and audio connectivity, and much more.

Unfortunately, Lian Li was still not ready to talk about the price or the precise availability date but it did note that we might see it in retail/e-tail pretty soon.
