Razer has announced that it has updated its premium Razer Blade Pro notebook which will now feature the next-generation Maxwell based GTX 860M graphics card as well as more RAM, a 4th generation Intel Core i7 CPU and SSD, in order to make the system as fast as possible.
In case you somehow missed it before, the Razer Blade Pro is designed around a 17.3-inch Full HD screen and features Razer's own Switchblade UI, which is basically a touchscreen which replaces the numpad.
In addition to the new Maxwell-based Geforce GTX 860M GPU with 2GB of GDDR5 memory and support for Nvidia ShadowPlay, GameStream and Battery Boost Enabled features, the Razer Blade Pro will pack Intel's 4th generation Core i7-4700HQ CPU, 16GB of DDR3-1600MHz memory, 128GB SSD with optional 256 and 512GB models, as well as the rest of the features which were already available on the previous Razer Blade Pro.
"Gamers and professionals see the value in a premium, portable 17-inch laptop, which is why we partnered with Razer earlier this decade to bring this project to life," says Brian Choi, NVIDIA Sr. product manager. "The Razer Blade Pro created an entirely new category of high-performance laptops capable of meeting the demanding needs of professional multimedia designers and hardcore gamers. This next generation of the Razer Blade Pro will be even more powerful, thanks to the new GeForce GTX 860M inside."
The new Razer Blade Pro with GTX 860M now starts at US $2,299.
