The record was achieved with a i7-4930K CPU pushed to 6174 MHz, an ASUS Rampage IV Black motherboard and 16GB of RAM at 2688 MHz CL 9-12-12-25. Of course to achieve this frequency on the CPU, the clocker has used a lot of liquid nitrogen!
