AMD's Kabini APUs should be available as of next month and motherboard manufacturers have already shown off most of its motherboards, including ASUS which will have two, a mini-ITX AM1I-A and the micro-ATX AM1M-A.
Based on AMD's AM1 platform, both motherboards will have two DIMM memory slots with support for up to 16GB of DDR3-1600 memory, two SATA 3.0 ports, Realtek's ALC887-VD audio, Realtek Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.0 and eight USB 2.0 ports.
The AMD1I-A will have a PCI-Express 2.0 x4 while AM1M-A will get a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slot (which will work at x4 due to the limitation of the APU) as well as two PCI-Express 2.0 x1 slots. The AM1M-A also has two more USB 3.0 ports, thanks to ASMedia AM1042 chip while display output wise, we will be looking at HDMI, DVI-D and VGA outputs.
According to known details, both motherboards should be available in late March with a price set at €33.90.
