After the official announcement of the new Intel 730 SSD series, we now have some details regarding the upcoming PCI-Express based Intel 750 SSD series aimed at enthusiasts and professional users.


Based on a PCI-Express 2.0 x8 interface as well as 20nm NAND flash chips, the new Intel 750 SSD series will be available in 180, 240, 360, 480 and 600GB capacities. According to some first details, the Intel 750 SSD series will be available in M.2 card as well as PCIe add-in-card form-factors.

According to details, the target performance is set at up to 1500MB/s for read and up to 1100MB/s for write while random 4K IOPS performance is expected at up to 180K and 24K for read and write.

The Intel 750 SSD series is expected in Q4 2014 and we are still to see Intel's official announcement.
