Seen back at the Consumer Electronics Show 2014 in Las Vegas under the UD590 name, Samsung's "affordable" 28-inch UHD monitor is now listed in Europe under the U28D590P name and starts at €609,35.
While both Dell and Lenovo have already announced their own affordable UltraHD monitors, it appears that Samsung will not leave that part of the market untouched. Unfortunately, the full details regarding the U28D590P are still unknown but it appears that it will have the same 3840x2160 TN panel we have seen with the Dell and Lenovo offering.
The rest of the listed specifications and features include 1000:1 contrast ratio and 370cd/m² brightness as well as DisplayPort and dual HDMI connectivity. Unfortunately, it is still not clear if it will have the same "flaw" as the Dell P2815Q which can achieve the 3840x2160 resolution only at 30Hz.
In any case, if your are shopping for UltraHD monitor any time soon, you might want to keep an eye on the Samsung U28D590P as well.
