We're proud to announce that the CMS we're using is finally capable of determining which is a visitors preferred language. The system ocaholic runs on has received an update which automatically detects the language in which a users browser has been installed and then displays the appropriate language files.
ocaholic runs on the open source CMS Xoops and the "Mamba", the man who coordinates the entire project, took the time to add a feature that the CMS is capable of detecting a browsers language settings and then set the language of ocaholic accordingly. For this purpose a cookie is being save on the visitors computer, where the language preference is stored. Should you afterwards select another language that cookie will be overwritten and the language you just selected is going to be stored inside.
Most of you might know, that ocaholic publishes its content in no less than for languages, which are English, German, French and Italian. We're quite a bunch of guys meanwhile working hard every day to provide you with information you need to know if you're interested in or working in that world of computer hardware. We're also really happy automatic language selection is now working, since it improves usability massively.
Thank you very much to "Mamba" from
Xoops.org for the great work!
