For the first time ever the 9000 Point barrier has been surpassed in Unigine Heaven Extreme Preset. Ian "8Pack" Parry has been able to crush the former world record, flexing his overclocking muscles. To achieve this excellent result he had to freeze a rather incredible setup.
Ian "8Pack" Parry has been freezing his Intel Core i7-4770K CPU with liquid nitrogen and overclocked it stably to 6'300 MHz. In case of the graphics cards he was using three AMD Radeon R9 290X graphics cards, which were also cooled using liquid nitrogen. All cards were running at 1'200 MHz GPU clock and 1'675 MHz (effective 6'700 MHz) memory clock. Other than that Ian "8Pack" Parry put 8 Gigabyte Corsair Vengeance Pro Memory on the ASUS Maximus VI motherobard, whereas the memory was running at 1'300 MHz (effective 2'600 MHz) CL-9-12-12-21-1T. In order to provide plenty of power to the graphics cards he deployed a mighty Antec 1200 Watt power supply on the system and another EVGA 1500 Watt PSU for the graphics cards only.
