With WQHD display
Acer is apparently working on a new version of the 13.3-inch Aspire S7 Ultrabook which will feature a WQHD 2560x1440 resolution display.
On a 13.3-inch panel, the WQHD resolution will add up to 221ppi pixel density which is just a tad bit shy away from the 227ppi on the Apple's 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. According to the report, it will be available in two SKUs, with either the Intel Core i5-4200U CPU, priced at US $1,499 or a faster Core i7-4500U CPU, priced at US $1,799.
The rest of the specifications for both models will include 8GB of DDR3 memory and 256GB of SSD storage.
According to the source, both should show up on retail/e-tail shelves in the US as of next week.
