Cougar has already made its name in the chassis, power supply, as well as peripheral market in recent years, and today, it launched its newest chassis, the MX300. Based on a rather interesting design, the MX300 promises an efficient cooling as well as enough room for multiple graphics cards.
Cougar has also payed a lot of attention to cable management as it features an enlarged cable management space in order to provide optimum airflow and neatness to the system. It also has enough room for two optical drives as well as three 3.5-inch and three 2.5-inch HDDs/SSDs. All drives can be assembled without screws.
As noted earlier, the Cougar MX300 has a rather unique design with focus on the front honeycomb design panel. The front side also houses I/O bay with USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and audio inputs and outputs.
The insides features a total of seven expansion slots and the new MX300 has enough room for up to seven fans, two in the front, two at the top, one at the back and two on the side panel. These seven fan points should provide enough airflow even for multi-GPU systems. All fans also come with washable air filters.
Unfortunately, there is still no info regarding the actual price and the availability date and we can only hope that the new case will have an affordable price and hit retail/e-tail shelves pretty soon.
