Zotac rolls out "turbo-charged" ZBox Nano series

With Intel Core i5-4200U and Core i7-4500U

Zotac has made quite a name for itself, when it comes to mini-PC, with its ZBox series and recent addition to the line is definitely a welcomed move after an endless line of various mini-PCs based on ULV Celeron CPUs and entry-level AMD APUs. The new Zotac ZBox Nano ID68 and the ID69 will feature Intel Haswell Core i5-4200U and Core i7-4500U CPUs.

As noted, both the new ZBox Nano ID68 and the ZBox Nano ID69 pack a dual-core Haswell CPU with Intel HD 4400 graphics. The ID68 uses Core i5-4200U CPU which works at 1.6GHz and can Turbo up to 2.6GHz. The Core i7-4500U on the other hand works at 1.8GHz and Turbo takes it up to 3.0GHz. The rest of the features are pretty much in line with most previous ZBox Nano mini-PCs so you get HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 with external WiFi antenna, Gigabit Ethernet, and bundled VESA mount.

As always, the new ZBox Nano ID68 and the ID69 will be available as barebone version and paired up with 4GB of DDR3 memory and 500GB HDD, also know as the PLUS Editions.

Unfortunately, Zotac did not shed any light on the actual price or the availability date for two new ZBox Nano mini-PCs but do not expect them to be cheap as Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs tend to push the price pretty high.
