LG plans to skip Android 4.3 for some devices

Goes directly to Android 4.4

LG has apparently decided to skip the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for some of its earlier released smartphones and update them directly to Android 4.4 KitKat, according to a fresh report from Phonearena.com.

To make things even a bit more interesting, LG will apparently skip the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update on some smartphones as well. The list of devices, which are expected to get the Android 4.4 KitKat update, include LG Optimus F3, LG Optimus F6, LG G Pad 8.3, LG G Pro Lite, LG Optimus F7, LG Optimus L9 II, LG Optimus Vu II, LG Vu III.

There are some bad news within the report as well, as apparently LG decided to drop any further updates for the LG Optimus 4X HD which will be permanently stuck on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS.

Of course, there is no official confirmation from LG regarding the matter so we have to wait and see how LG decide to play it officially.
