Wasteland 2 has finally gone out of its alpha-phase and is now available in its beta-phase via Steam Early Access for US $59.99.

As announced earlier, Wasteland 2 has finally gone out of its alpha-stage and is now available for download via Steam Early Access for US $59.99. inXile Entertainment noted that although it expected that the final price would be lower, they did threw in some neat goodies like a free copy of the original Wasteland, two digital novellas set in The Wasteland world, Mark Morgan’s Wasteland 2 OST in digital format and a digital concept art book in order to sweeten the deal.

As it is in its beta-stage, those that order it via Steam Early Access will also become a part of the dev team in order to make the game a bit better.

Wasteland 2 is probably one of the most interesting games that does not really focus on graphics which shows that a good idea is much more appreciated than high-end graphics, something that most AAA titles are currently going for.
