ASRock's Fatal1ty 990FX Killer motherboard detailed

Most feature packed 990FX motherboard

Techpowerup.com managed to get some detailed pictures of the recently teased ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer motherboard showing that this might be the most feature packed AM3+, 990FX-based motherboard on the market.

Designed solely for gaming PCs, the ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer motherboard is based on full-size ATX form factor, features three PCI-Express x16 slots, has 10-phase VRM, with its own heatsink, which draws power from 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS connectors, with an optional 4-pin Molex connection for add-on cards, support for 64GB of DDR3-2400 memory, five SATA 6Gbps ports and one eSATA and bunch of USB ports.

Since the design is aimed at gamers rather than overclockers, ASRock also included Killer E2200 network controller, ASRock's Purity Sound 7.1-channel HD audio, with a high SNR CODEC, PCB ground-layer isolation (to prevent electrical noise), and an EMI shield for the CODEC, six USB 3.0 ports, and it is actually the first motherboard that features an M.2 slot.

In any case, this is definitely one feature packed AMD 990FX based motherboard but we still have to hear from ASRock regarding the official launch date and the actual price of the new motherboard.
