Corsair has announced that its previously released Carbide Air 540 mid-tower PC chassis will now be available in Arctic White color scheme in addition to previously available black and steel silver color options.
The Carbide Air 540 has been definitely quite a performer in various reviews around the net, scoring over 40 awards. In case you missed it earlier, ti is based on wider form-factor design with two "side-by-side" chambers and a unique Direct Airflow Path layout. The mentioned design allows the Carbide Air 540 to offer best-in-class cooling at low noise levels. The main chamber houses the motherboard, graphics card and hot-swap 3.5-inch drives while the second chamber hold the PSU, SSDs and 5.25-inch drives.
The precise dimensions of the Carbide Air 540 are set at 407x432mmx457mm. The rest of the specifications and features include removable dust filters, support for Mini ITX, Micro ATX, ATX, Extended ATX motherboards and ATX power supplies, mount point for six 120mm or five 140mm fans (or 240/280mm radiator on top and 360/280/240mm radiator in front), USB 3.0 ports on front I/O, built-in cable routing cutouts with grommets and much more rather unique features.
The Carbide Air 540 Arctic White Edition should already be available all around the world with a suggested retail price of US $149.99.
