Nvidia's Shadowplay is basically a hardware encoded video recording tool, which uses a built-in H.264 encoder available with GTX 600 and 700 series (GTX 650 and above). Shadowplay allows you to record your game sessions at native resolution (up to 1920x1080). Other than that Shadowplay is going to record game audio and also VOIP simultaneosuly.

On Windows 7 and 8 you can save up to 20 minutes of gameplay; in manual mode Windows 7 is no longer restricted to a single 3.8GB file. In the future, Nvidia will introduce the ability to stream directly to Twitch.tv.
