ocaholic.ch is going to host an international Overclocking Competition in Zürich, Switzerland this week-end from the 30.11.13 to the 01.12.13. In cooperation with ASUS, Cooler Master, Corsair, der8auer, Intel, Samsung and Seasonic they've invited several famous overclockers from DACH area and special guest Semjons "TaPaKaH" Avdejevs from Latvia.

The competition will have a special focus on memory overclocking. Other than that, the five teams will also compete in 2D as well as a 3D benchmark. On Saturday, all five teams will also participate in freestyle benchmarking. Together, they will try to get rid of more than 500 liter of liquid nitrogen with quite some understatement. On Sunday, all Teams, which consist of Mat and oanvoanc from Austria, der8auer and Crazzy85 from Germany, Moose83 and Michel 90 from Switzerland, Hiwa and splmann from Switzerland as well as Marine and TaPaKaH from Switzerland and Latvia, respectively, will show what they can do regarding memory overclocking, SuperPi 32M as well as the Aquamark benchmark.

All the contestants will be using an ASUS Maximus VI Impact motherboard, an ASUS GTX 780 DirectCU II OC graphics card, an Intel Core i7-4770K CPU, Corsair DDR3-2933 C12 Hynix MFR memory, a Samsung 840 Pro 256 Gigabyte SSD, a Seasonic X1250 power supply as well as a great peripherals bundle from Cooler Master.
