Palit has announced its new custom Geforce GTX 780 Ti graphics cards, the Palit Geforce GTX 780 Ti JetStream, or according to Palit, the fastest single-GPU graphics card on the market. The new Palit JetStream series graphics card will be based on the recently released Nvidia Geforce GTX 780 Ti GPU as well as Palit's recognizable custom design for JetStream series with dual-slot triple fan cooler.
Based on Nvidia's GK110 GPU with 2880 CUDA cores, the Palit GTX 780 Ti JetStream works at 980MHz base and 1046MHz Boost GPU clocks while 3GB of GDDR5 memory, paired up with a 384-bit memory interface, ended up clocked at 3500MHz (7.0GHz effective). It needs two 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors in order to power its unique 8-phase VRM and provide enough current for additional overclocking potential.
The triple-fan JetStream cooler on top of the PCB features two 80mm fans and one center placed 90mm fan, which is the main reason a 980MHz GPU clock which is quite higher than the 876MHz one on the reference desing. The heatsink below the fans features a copper base as well as five copper heatpipes. According to Palit, thanks to the custom cooler, the Palit GTX 780 Ti JetStream, is 10 percent faster, 7dBA quieter and 10C cooler than the reference design GTX 780 Ti.
Unfortunately, Palit did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date of the new custom GTX 780 Ti JetStream graphics card.
