Nvidia rolls out Geforce 331.82 WHQL driver

One to have for Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag

Nvidia has released its newest, WHQL-certified, Geforce driver, the Geforce 331.82 WHQL. Released in the wake of Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag and Need for Speed: Rivals, the new driver bring "best possible gaming experience" in those two games as well as various fixes and performance improvements for other games.

According to Nvidia's freshest release notes, the new driver brings SLI performance increase of up to 50 percent when running SLI setup in games like Metro: Last Light, up to 26 percent in Crysis 3 and up to 18 percent in Battlefield 4. The new driver also brings updated SLI profile for Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag, Path of Exile and Natural Selection as well as 3D Vision support for Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag.

It also enables Geforce ShadowPlay as well as adds TXAA support in Call of Duty: Ghosts and enables Nvidia GameStream technology on Shield.

As it was the case with most previous WHQL-certified driver releases, this one also support all Geforce graphics cards since Geforce 8 series as well as Nvidia ION and ION LE GPUs.
