Gigabyte is definitely one of the rare partners that have announced a factory-overclocked GTX 780 Ti, let alone the custom cooled one. The Gigabyte Geforce GTX 780 Ti Overclock Edition (GV-N78TOC-3GD), as Gigabyte decided to call it will definitely be one to look at when it becomes available, especially with that WindForce 3X cooler.
Unfortunately, Gigabyte did not shed any light regarding the actual clocks of the new GTX 780 Ti Overclock Edition, but we are quite sure it will have a hefty factory-overclock. The Windforce 3X custom cooler will definitely cope with the heat much better than the reference cooler and should offer up to 14 percent lower temperatures, according to Gigabyte.
In case you missed it earlier, the Windforce 3X cooler is a dual-slot design that is capable of dissipating up to 450W of heat. It has three fans and six heatpipes (two 8mm and four 6mm) connected to a rather hefty heatsink.
As noted earlier, there are no details regarding the Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti and we have no idea if and when it will actually appear on the market.
