While we already had a chance to see some specification for the upcoming Nvidia GTX 780 Ti, we now have a couple of pictures of the new graphics card as well as a set of benchmarks showing that it is indeed faster than bot the GTX Titan as well as the AMD Radeon R9 290X.
Judging from these early pictures it appears that the upcoming Geforce GTX 780 Ti is identical to both the GTX Titan and the GTX 780 with only difference in the GTX 780 Ti brand on the cooler. It is actually not a bad thing as both the PCB and the cooler did a great job on the GTX Titan so it should do the same with the GTX 780 Ti.
In addition to a couple of pictures, Chiphell Forum posts also reveal some unconfirmed benchmarks including 3DMark, Unigine Valley, Aliens vs. Predator 3, Battlefield 3, and Bioshock: Infinite where it clearly no only has higher performance than the GTX 780, GTX Titan and the AMD Radeon R9 290X, but also is on par with dual-GPU graphics cards like the GTX 690 or Radeon HD 7990.
In any case we'll know for sure quite soon as more info should surface pretty soon considering that the GTX 780 Ti is out of Nvidia's HQ.
