ASUS ROG Rampage IV Black Edition officially launched

Comes to EU stores by the end of next month

Although we already seen in it in action a couple of times, including back when it was used in an overclocking event, ASUS ROG has finally decided to officially launch its new Rampage IV Black Edition LGA 2011 motherboard based on Intel's X79 Express chipset and compatible with Intel Core i7 Ivy Bridge-E CPUs.

As expected, ASUS ROG Rampage IV Black Edition is definitely the cream of the crop when it comes to motherboards based on the Intel X79 Express chipset and aimed to be used with Intel's latest LGA 2011 Core i7 Ivy Bridge-E CPUs. In case you missed it earlier, the Rampage IV Black Edition is an E-ATX form factor gaming motherboard that features eight DIMM memory slots for up to 64GB of DDR3-2800MHz+ memory, support for 4-way GPU setups and powered by ASUS' Extreme Engine DIGI+ III VRM in order to give it the maximum possible power stability.

The rest of the features include ASUS' SupremeFX Black audio with ELNA audio capacitors, German-made WIMA film capacitors, Cirrus Logic CS4398 DAC, Hi-Fi-quality Texas Instruments TPA6120A2 600ohm headphone amplifier, and exclusive EMI shielding, aforementioned Extreme Engine DIGI+ III VRM with NexFET MOSFTETs, 60A chokes and Japanese-made 10K black metallic capacitors, black on black color scheme that will certainly look good inside any PC case, Intel's Gigabit Ethernet with ROG's GameFirst II, ROG RAMDisk and Sonic Radar as well as almost any other feature that you would expect on a high-end top of the shelf gaming motherboard.

The ASUS ROG Rampage IV Black Edition will come with a free copy of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag game. As noted, ASUS' ROG Rampage IV Black Edition should be available in almost every region as of end of November. Unfortunately, the price has not been mentioned since it will vary from region to region.
