Although Nvidia decided not to shed any details regarding the Geforce GTX 780 Ti during its event in Montreal, Chiphell has leaked some of the first rumored specifications for the upcoming GK110-based graphics card that could end up to be even faster than Nvidia's current flagship, the GTX Titan.
Although these should be taken with a grain of salt, according to the post and the GPU-Z screenshot, the GTX 780 Ti has slightly less CUDA cores than Titan, 2496 to be precise, but also comes with a slightly higher GPU clocks while memory interface still remained at 384-bit and paired up with 3GB of memory. According to the GPU-Z screenshot the new GTX 780 Ti graphics card will be clocked at 902MHz GPU base and 954MHz GPU Boost clocks which is somewhat higher than 836/876MHz we have seen on the GTX Titan.
In short, GTX 780 Ti could end up to be a GTX Titan for gaming and should end up to be cheaper than the GTX Titan as well. According to a few rumors around the net, Nvidia might decide to go for similar price of the GTX 780, US $649 or slightly higher, while the GTX 780 will eventually get a slight drop in price. In terms of raw performance, GTX 780 Ti is capable of 4,503/4762 GFLOPS while the GTX Titan manages to get 4,494/4709 GFLOPS.
In any case, we will know for sure next month when GTX 780 Ti is scheduled to appear.
