Enermax has now officially unveiled its new liquid CPU Liqtech cooler series additions, the Liqtech 120x and the Liqtech 240. The entire series will based on a high quality aluminum water block and an innovative radiator structure as well as Enermax Twister Pressure PWM fans.
As noted, the Enermax Liqtech will use an innovative radiator structure that should provide a seamless contact area and increases heat dissipating speed. The unique patented Shunt-Channel-Technology (SCT) cold plate hidden in the water block eliminates the heat surges and boosts the thermal conductivity. The SCT should redistribute the coolant and maximize the coolant utilization rate and help to break the boundary layer formed in the micro fin channels and enable coolant to take away more heat.
For starters, the Liqtech series will be available in two versions, the Liqtech 120X with a 120mm radiator and the Liqtech 240 with a 240mm one. The radiators use "seamless" structure that should offer 120% contact area when compared to standard coolers and provide much better thermal conductivity despite its 43mm thickness.
As noted earlier, both water coolers will also come with the latest Enermax Twister Pressure fans. There High-Pressure Airflow Fans with APS Control should provide higher performance and can work in three modes, from 600 to 2500RPM. LIQTECH series is a 100% maintenance-free, all-in-one liquid cooling systems with prefilled coolant as well as powerful fans with detachable blades for easy maintenance and the aluminum bracket for trouble-free installation.
The Enermax LIQTECH 120X (ELC-LT120X-HP) will be available in late October, and LIQTECH 240 (ELC-LT240-HP) in mid-November.
