Prolimatech announces Basic Series CPU coolers

Simple design and lower price

While mostly famous for its high-end enthusiast CPU air coolers, Prolimatech has now announced its Basic Series that will feature simple design with aluminum and copper combinations and, of course, lower price.

To be available in five different sizes, the Basic Series will also include the Megahalems Basic launched earlier this year that will now be named as the Basic 81, as well as the Basic 45, 48, 65 and the Basic 68. The series starts off with the Basic 45, a 100x55x125mm CPU air cooler that packs two 6mm copper heatpipes and 92mm PWM fan. The Basic 48 features pretty much the same specs as the Basic 45, but with three nickel-plated copper heatpipes.

Basic Series will also feature the Basic 65, a 120x50x148mm average size tower CPU cooler with three 6mm heatpiupes and 120mm PWM fan. The Basic 68 is pretty much the same as the Basic 65 but with additional heatpipe, taking the number up to four.

The last, but not the least is the premium Basic 81 CPU cooler which is a rebrand of Megahalems Basic. With dimensions set at 130x75x158 and six 6mm nickel-plated copper heatpipes, two parallel tower fin stacks and 120mm PWM fan, the Basic 81 is as close as budget coolers will get to premium/enthusiast offer from Prolimatech.

Unfortunately, Prolimatech did not shed any details regarding the actual release date or the price for the new Basic lineup.
