Grand Theft Auto 5 coming to PC in Q1 2014

Not that we had any doubts

It was quite obvious that Rockstar would not pass a chance to get the Grand Theft Auto 5 to PC and show the game in all its glory with much better details and eye-candy that it could ever had on current-gen consoles. According to recent report from Eurogamer it appears that it will come in Q1 2014.

The situation is quite similar to what we had a chance to see with Grand Theft Auto 4, which was released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on April 29th and also came out for PC in December, after a flood of rumors that it might not come to PC after all. History repeats itself after all.

Earlier in August, Nvidia's senior director of investor relations, Chris Evenden, slip out a PC version of the GTA 5 during a financial call but later said that they made an error, most likely under pressure from Rockstar. There is also a petition that nearly 600,000 people already signed in order to push Rockstar to release GTA 5 for PC.

In our humble opinion, GTA 5 was always planned for PC and it will also come for next-gen consoles as well since it pretty much does not make any sense for Rockstar to pass an opportunity to earn more cash on multiple platforms. This way around, Rockstar will even get a bonus from a wide audience that will own the GTA 5 on multiple platforms.
