Nvidia might be forced in new price cuts

AMD to blame

Recent price cuts of the GTX 660 and the GTX 650 Ti Boost from Nvidia might not be the last as it appears that rumors regarding a price cut for the GTX 760 and the GTX 770 might actually be true and come in November.

According to a report from Digitimes, citing its graphics card makers sources, Nvidia will release an upgraded GTX 760 as well as be forced to yet another price cut in November. Of course it is not yet clear which graphics cards will get the actual price cuts as it might even extend to GTX 780.

Of course, Nvidia will not make any moves in case AMD's new high-end lineup does not live up to its name. Since rumors state that the R9 290X might end up with a US $699 price tag, it depends how much faster will it actually be compared to the GTX 780.

In any case, we will know for sure in a couple of days and November is just around the corner.
