After the controversy about Ryse and his 900p, Aaron Greenberg, chief of staff for company’s devices and studios group, talked about the decision to allow developers to set whatever resolution they want.

Aaron Greenberg noted that the new Xbox is designed to deliver the best of entertainment and games for next decade, including 1080p and 4K resolutions but in his opinion, it is better to leave the decision to developers to set what resolution they want. He also noted that every title will be Full HD, native or upscaled by console.
