AMD FX-9370 possibly to go to retail

As a boxed solution

Although it is still not clear if the PIB (processor-in-box) packaging of the 32nm Vishera FX-9370 will feature some sort of cooling solution considering that it has the same 220W TDP rating seen with other FX-9000 series chips, it is good to know that AMD will at least push it to the channel under SKU "FD9370FHW8KHK".

To be priced at just under US $270 (exc. VAT), the socket AM3+ FX-9370 is based on 32nm Vishera silicon and features eight cores based on Piledriver architecture. The chip works at 4.4GHz base and 4.7GHz TurboCore clocks and packs 16MB of total cache.

These CPUs definitely have their place on the market with people that simply do not care about the TDP.
