Rightware fixes Basemark X for Galaxy Note 3

Will not cheat in our benchmark

In case you missed it, Samsung has been caught in a move that artificially boosts Galaxy Note 3 results in a couple of benchmarks and white Basemark X was not an exception, they released a new patch that will fix those problems.

The problem with the Galaxy Note 3 is its idle CPU speed or the lack of it in benchmarks where it locks all cores into 2.3GHz mode. This comes as a result of Samsung's move that treats the benchmark apps a bit differently than a normal ones thus preventing any possible real world performance results.

According to the note we got from Rightware, the same thing happened with their own benchmark, the Basemark X. Since "Rightware’s mission is to provide trusted performance evaluation tools you can depend on" they released a new update that solves the issue.

Hopefully, sites will update the scores with new Basemark X and the rest of the benchmarks will follow with an update as well.
