Xigmatek announced the new micro-ATX Aquila case that will feature a couple of interesting design solutions providing the Aquila with enough room for tall CPU coolers, long graphics cards as well as enough fans to keep the hardware inside it nice and cool.
Featuring two frame "strong" beams that act as feet and support, the new Aquila micro-ATX case will also have a rather interesting design solution that puts the motherboard tray on level with the case which gives it enough room for up to 18cm tall CPU coolers as well as up to 33cm long graphics cards. The result is a rather wide case, with 390x403x265mm (LxHxW) dimensions, that has enough room to house almost every component that you might pair up with a micro-ATX motherboard, including water cooling setup.
It features a single 5.25-inch bay, two 3.5/2.5-inch and two 2.5-inch bays. With all the drive bays, you are left with enough room for 120/140mm front intake fans, 140mm rear exhaust fan, and room for two 140mm fans on the top (or 140x280mm radiator). Front I/O panel includes two USB 3.0 ports and audio jacks.
Unfortunately, Xigmatek did not reveal any details regarding the price or the actual availability date for the Aquila.
