Xbox One HDMI input port supports Playstation 4

Will not be a great experience

During the Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft's Albert Penello confirmed to Gamespot that the Xbox One HDMI input port supports almost every device including the Sony Playstation 4 as well.
In a different interview, Penello explained that, although it does support it, when Playstation 4 is hooked up to it it just "won't be a great experience" due to HDMI latency. The precise details are still unknown as we will probably have to wait for more details for a few weeks but it might have something to do with the way how Xbox One actually handles the devices that are connected via its HDMI input port since it is designed for cable/satellite TV box.

Of course, many current TVs have multiple HDMI ports without any issues so we will definitely love to hear Microsoft's explanation for this one. In any case, you will be able to hook up the Playstation 4 to the Xbox One, but you would have to forget about gaming.
