Leadtek has rolled out the new Geforce GTX 780 Hurricane III graphics card that combines Nvidia's reference PCB with its own Hurricane III cooler with three fans as well as a slight factory overclock.
The new Leadtek GTX 780 Hurricane III works at 876MHz base and 928MHz Boost GPU clocks while 3072MB of GDDR5 memory is left at reference 6.0GHz. The new GTX 780 Hurricane III is paired up Leadtek's own cooler equipped with a rather large heatsink cooled by two 74mm and one center placed 85mm fan. As expected, the new GTX 780 needs 8+6-pin PCI-Express power connectors.
The new GTX 780 Hurricane III graphics card will be available as of 20th of September with a price tag similar to the reference-design GTX 780 graphics cards on the market.
