While it recently launched the 128GB version of the SuperSonic Boost XT flash drive, Patriot Memory decided to launch the new 256GB capacity version as well. Featuring the same recognizable design of Patriot's SuperSonic Boost flash drives, the new 256GB version of the SuperSonic Boost XT also uses same rugged and rubber case.
As expected, it features USB 3.0 interface and will offer sequential read and write speeds of up to 150MB/s and 30MB/s. It measures 59.7x12.2x19.8mm and weighs a mere 13g. In case you missed it earlier, the Patriot SuperSonic Boost XT lineup features 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, and now the 256GB models and are backed by 5 years of warranty.

Unfortunately, Patriot did not shed any details regarding the actual price or the precise availability date for the new 256GB version of the SuperSonic Boost XT flash drive.
