facebookWe started the week with Cosmos II from Paul Tan, a very big case with inside LGA 2011 platform with i7-3970X, 16GB Corsair Platinum 2400, 2x SSD Samung 840 256, an EVGA 1500 Watt power supply and last but not least four GeForce GTX 780. Graphics cards as well as CPU are well cooled by a liquid system. Next to the components used Paul modded the setup in a way that it just looks insane.
The Prodigy by Scorptec is equipped with an ASUS ROG Impact motherboard, an i7-4770K, Corsair Vengeance PRO memory, an ASUS GTX 780 DirectCU II graphics card and last but not least two Samsung SSD 840 Pro in RAID0. The rig is completely red and black, perfectly in line with the ROG color scheme.
Wednesday, we pubblished a rig based on Mountain Mods Extended U2-UFO with also a Water Barrel 24. Frank N Stein uses a huge water cooling system with no less than 45 fans. Taking a closer look we see a 3930K OC'ed to an incredible 5.3GHz. This magic happens on an ASUS motherboard, which got equipped with 32GB of ram and a three-way EVGA GTX680 SLI.
Thursday we shared a rig from Watermod. Another Cosmos II, this time in grey, with inside a well made and clean watercooling setup. The big-tower has inside a configuration based on ASUS Rampage IV Extreme, i7-3820 and 64GB of Kingston Beast. As for video cards, they decided to use two on ASUS GTX 680 DC2. The components used for the liquid cooling system are EKwb and Bitspower.
We end the week with another big tower build, a Cooler Master Haf X. This rig comes from Argentina and Franco has equipped it with a custom watercooling for CPU and GPU. Inside we find a Core i5-2500K CPU on a Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 motherboard combined with a 2x4GB G.Skill memory kit. In the graphics department we find two GTX480 in SLi configuration.
