During IFA 2013 show in Berlin, Acer showcased the new and updated version of the C710 Chromebook that will now feature the new 22nm 1.5GHz Celeron 1007U CPU.
While it is already selling with the quite outdated 32nm 1.1GHz-clocked Celeron 847 CPU, the Acer 11.6-inch C710 Chromebook will be updated to the new 22nm 1.5GHz Celeron 1007U. Although the rest of the specs will not be changed as you'll still end up with a 11.6-inch 1366x768 screen, 2 or 4GB of RAM and either 16GB of flash or 320GB of HDD storage, the new CPU will definitely be a welcomed update.
In case you missed it earlier, the Acer C710 also feature 10/100 Ethernet, 802.11bgn WiFi, and either 4- or 6-cell battery. As the name suggests, it runs on Chrome OS and should hit retail/e-tail shelves with a €249 price tag.
