In an interview with MCV, Ubisoft noted that they believe that pre-orders of both the upcoming Xbox One and the Sony's next-gen Playstation 4 consoles are higher than pre-orders seen back with the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. Of course, Ubisoft did not talk about precise figures but can get a pretty good picture from the sales of its own titles for both upcoming next-gen consoles.

Ubisoft naturally seized the moment to brag that both the Watch Dogs and the upcoming Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag are currently top ranking titles in the pre-orders.

This comes as a somewhat contrary statement made by Activision which claimed that Call of Duty Ghosts pre-orders are down since consumers are still uncertain about the next-generation consoles.
