Intel says PC market is good

Analysts drawing wrong conclusions

Intel has finally taken a stand and contrary to analyst beliefs, it is saying that PC market is not that bad and that all those reports are just hyped up conclusions that PC has been actually replaced by tablets and smartphones.
Intel told a selected members of the press that it has sponsored a survey done in June by IDC that showed that more than 97 percent of surveyed subject still consider the PC as their main and primary computing device. Of those 97 percent, 41 percent said that they intend to buy a new computer in the coming year and that number raises to 54 percent if parents are concerned.

The most interesting details is that most of the computers from those that attended the survey is more four years old and more which means that upgrade is certainly necessary.
