MSI reveals more of the GTX 780 Lightning

Triple-fan Twin Frozr V incoming?

MSI Europe has released a new teaser for the upcoming MSI Geforce GTX 780 Lightning graphics card scheduled to be officially announced on 7th of August, or just under a week from today. According to a couple of recent teasers that showed a unique, custom and taller PCB with high-end components, new GPU Reactor, some impressive overclocking results in the hands of Jon "Elmor" Sandström as well as a part of the cooler.

With the launch of the new teaser we now have much clearer picture on the upcoming beast from MSI that will, according to what we saw so far, be equipped with a completely new triple-fan cooler and a new black/orange color scheme that will fit perfectly with MSI's recently introduced Z87 MPower and MPower MAX motherboards.

If you put two last teasers together, where first shows the front part of the card and the new one which shows two fans closer to the rear end of the card, you can easily conclude that we will see some sort of triple-fan cooler. It is still not sure if MSI will decide to call it Twin Frozr V, but it is quite clear that it will have enough fan power to keep this beast at decent temperature levels.

In any case, we surely can't wait to see the official launch on 7th of August.
